How to Play Euchre
Objective:
Be the first team to score 10 points.
Rules:
24-card deck (9,10,J,Q,K,A of each suit). 4 players in partnerships.
5 cards dealt to each player. The 6th card is turned up as the potential trump.
Bidding: players pass or order up the turned card as trump. The dealer's team can also choose a different suit.
The maker's team must take at least 3 tricks. If they do, they score 1 point (or 4 if going alone).
If they fail (euchred), the defending team scores 2 points.
Right bower (J of trump) and left bower (J of same color) are the highest trumps.
