How to Play Go
Objective: Control more territory than your opponent by placing stones on the intersections.
Rules:
- Players alternate placing black and white stones on empty intersections.
- A stone or group is captured when it has no adjacent liberties (empty intersections).
- The Ko rule prevents repeating the same board position.
- A player may pass instead of placing a stone.
- The game ends when both players pass consecutively.
- Territory is counted: empty intersections surrounded by your stones + captured stones.
Scoring: Territory + captures. Komi (6.5 points) is added to White's score to compensate for Black's first move advantage.
Controls: Click on an intersection to place a stone. Use Pass to skip your turn. Resign to concede. Undo to take back the last move.
