🦇 Echo Location
Objective: Use sonar pings to locate hidden objects. Each ping sends a sound wave; the echo reveals distance and material of nearby objects.
Controls:
- Click on the radar to send a ping from that point
- Watch expanding ring for echo returns
- Higher ping pitch = metal objects, lower = wood
- Space bar sends random ping
Environments:
- Cave: Echoes bounce off walls, harder to pinpoint
- Ocean: Sonar travels further, fewer obstacles
- Forest: Dense, objects reflect chaotically
Tips: Use multiple pings from different positions to triangulate. Listen to echo pitch to identify material.
