Sub-bass (20-60 Hz): Deep rumble, felt more than heard. Kick drums, pipe organs.
Bass (60-250 Hz): Foundation of music. Bass guitar, tuba, lower piano notes.
Low Mid (250-500 Hz): Warmth and body. Lower brass, cello, vocals (fundamental).
