Objective: Train your ear to recognize chord qualities. A chord plays and you must identify whether it's major, minor, diminished, or augmented. Progressive difficulty adds 7th chords and inversions.
Controls:
- Click answer buttons to identify the chord
- Space to replay the chord
- Choose chord type focus
Rules:
- Triads: Major, Minor, Diminished, Augmented
- 7ths: Major 7, Minor 7, Dominant 7, Dim 7
- Inversions: Root, 1st, 2nd, 3rd inversion
- Correct answer: +10 points + streak bonus
- Wrong answer: streak resets
- Mixed mode randomly selects any chord type
Tips: Major = happy, Minor = sad, Diminished = tense, Augmented = floating. Listen to the overall mood first, then analyze intervals.
