How to play Flying Bird
Flying Bird is a one-button arcade game in the style of Flappy Bird. Gravity pulls the bird down, each tap flaps it upward, and you must thread it through gaps between pipes. Every pipe you pass scores a point.
Rules
The bird falls constantly; each flap gives it a quick upward push. Pipes scroll in from the right with a 150-pixel gap at a random height. Touching a pipe or the edge of the play area ends the run. Your best score is saved in this browser.
Controls
- Click, tap or Space to flap.
- New Game starts a fresh run.
Tips for longer runs
- Tap in a steady rhythm instead of reacting late; most crashes come from panic taps.
- Aim to fly through the lower half of each gap, because a flap carries the bird upward quickly.
- Watch the next pipe as soon as you clear the current one.
- Short bursts of taps are safer than single big flaps when the gap height changes a lot.
History
Flappy Bird, released by Dong Nguyen in 2013, made the one-tap obstacle game a global craze in early 2014. Its simple rules made it one of the most remade games for beginners learning game development.
